The best test for a system that claims to support family sessions is simple: open two accounts for two parties in the same situation, and see what each sees. The difference between the two screens is all that matters.
This operational model needs
An independent view of each party within a shared situation: he sees his shared appointments, what he has been authorized to do, but does not see what belongs to the other party – neither in the appointments, nor in the notes, nor in the invoices, nor in the notices.
Jobs that deserve priority
- Validity for each terminal: Is set at the state level, not the system level.
- Separation of individual sessions: A session with one party is not visible to the other at all.
- Chapter Notes: What was said in an individual session remains in the file of the person who said it.
- Independent Approvals: Each party has its own approvals within their scope, and withdrawing one does not revoke the approval of the other.
- Neutrality Notices: A reminder message that does not reveal the presence or absence of the other party.
- Billing: Who pays may not be all parties — and the bill does not disclose details of the sessions.
Suitability review practical scenario
Open two accounts and try each:
- Does the first party see an individual session held with the second party?
- Does he see a note written in that session?
- Does he see the other person’s balance or bill?
- One of them withdrew his consent: What changed for the other?
- Request a report for one party: Does it contain information about the other?
- Review the text of the reminder sent to both parties: Does it reveal anything?
Scope options and access limits
- The blocking is the original: The assumption is that neither of them sees anything about the other, and the exception is granted by a documented professional decision.
- The dispute doubles in importance: In disputed cases any information may be used out of context – check the settings before each such case.
- Separation upon separation: Ask about the mechanism for separating the shared status if the relationship ends.
- The decision is professional: What is authorized for each party is decided by the specialist and supervisor, not the default setting.
